Brookside Golf Club, reminiscent of an earlier era, is steeped in 75 years of golf tradition. Designed by famed golf architect William P. Bell, Brookside Golf Club's 36 holes are nestled in the golden foothills of Pasadena next to the world famous Rose Bowl. The golf courses at Brookside have hosted many major championships including the Los Angeles Open and the National Public Links Championship.

The IFMA Foundation is the only foundation in the world that completely embraces the global impact of facility management. The foundation raises money for scholarships, accredited degree programs and research, and attracts attention to the profession from students all over the world. This is important to the industry as we have all seen the demographics that indicate fewer younger professionals ready to take the “baby boomers” place in the work force.

It is also important that facility management degree programs are consistent in covering the various topics that make up the FM body of knowledge; an important program that helps us achieve that is the foundation’s Accredited Degree Program. We would like to see all FM degree programs meet these requirements. This lofty goal would result in high quality FM programs around the world and students graduating with FM degrees.

Your participation on April 5 at Brookside will help the IFMA Foundation continue to positively impact the industry, helping to grow the FM profession worldwide.
