Need
Currently facility management is expanding into emerging economy countries, where design and construction have been their primary focus. With competitive pressures of globalization, however, these countries are increasingly embracing the concepts of facility management and expanding its impact. The need for peer—reviewed research is well established in these countries’ academic communities, so acceptance for facility management is aided by additional, strong peer—reviewed publications, such as this journal, to expand international research and knowledge. Open access publication enhances the ability for all to have the journal available and benefit from its existence. |
