Jim Hickey Memorial Scholarship Fund

The scholarship fund is a fitting tribute to a man that dedicated much of his professional career to the betterment of the facility management profession.  As a facility manager, Jim was an ardent fan of IFMA and spoke widely at IFMA gatherings and industry events near and far.  He was an ambassador for IFMA and an active volunteer.  Through the years Jim was a member of the IFMA Board of Directors, Certification Task Force, Education Committee, Nominating Committee as well as many special projects.

The annual scholarship will provide a deserving student the opportunity to continue an education in facility management, or an FM related program, and to attend IFMA’s World Workplace.  The hope is that each student that receives this scholarship will go on to make contributions to the industry in much the same way Jim did during his tenure as an active IFMA member and tireless volunteer.
